A Failproof Pairing: Champagne and French Oysters

There are few things in life as perfect as champagne paired with French oysters. The umami and briny flavour of the oyster is elevated by the minerality and acidity of the champagne. This time, city’super champagne selection of Champagne J-B Hery and fresh oysters are delighting your palate and transporting your senses to a chill afternoon at a Parisian bistro.

About Champagne J-B Hery

Located in the heart of Champagne area in the historical downtown of Châlons en Champagne, Champagne J-B Hery is a family-owned estate that produces champagne in the most authentic and artisanal way, which involves long ageing in their cool and quiet chalk caves (crayères).

Champagne Selection:
  • J-B Hery Brut Nature 2002
  • Made with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, this champagne has an exceptional ripeness with a high concentration of flavours, and has been improved by long ageing in the chalk caves.

  • J-B Hery Heritage Brut N.V.

A Remarkable Pairing: Rosé with Herb Marinated Goat Cheese

Goat cheese has a rather distinctive flavour. Take Les Frères Marchand Valencay AOP Raw Milk Cheese, for example. It has an acidic, tangy flavour that pairs really well with a bright, crisp wine like rosé. For an even more special pairing, try making your own jar of herb marinated goat cheese with our recipe below, and enjoy this remarkable pairing at home.
