Alta Atella Rosé Sparkling Wine x Domecq Iberico Ham

The owner of the famous Spainish winery Alta Atella ‘s story began at the Serralada de Marina Natural Park in the 1990’s, where they started to grow their own grapes using certified organic farming method. Alta Alella Mirgin Laietà Rosé Gran Reserva Brut Nature 2014 features delicate and silky bubbles with aromas of red berries and red currant.It is best accompaniment to goat cheese and Domecq Ibérico ham. 

For more than 40 years, the Domecq family has been breeding Ibérico pigs for the production of their Ibérico ham, all under their direct control to ensure the best quality. The pigs are 100% bellota-fed from Jabugo,has a rich flavour with a nutty and slightly bitter finish, making it the perfect match with the mineral qualities in the Rosé sparkling wine.

Ca' del Bosco Franciacorta Satèn Millesimato 2012/2013 has intense aromas of citrus fruits, pear, apple with hint of ripe lemon and mineral flavours.It is recommended to pair with shellfish, raw fish and mild cheese. Wakatsuru Distillery Junenmyo Whisky

Founded in 1952, Wakatsuru Distillery produces this Japanese Blended whisky, Junenmyo, which is made from Wakatsuru unblended malt whisky and selected Scotch grain whisky. Limited to 10,000 bottles a year, Junenmyo is delicate and smooth with a light smoke element. 

Suggested to pair with artisanal Camembert de Normandie, supplied by the century-old cheese refiner Les frères Marchand, the cheese is made with raw cow’s milk according to the tradition, which makes it a great match with whisky, the flavour is enhanced by the mushroom notes.

The featured whiskey is from The Cotswolds Distillery. Founded in 2014, they have begun their first full year of whisky sales in 2018 with an award by the UK Icons of Whisky : Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible 2018 Liquid Gold Awards. Their whisky is balanced with oak cask notes and best accompanied with smoked meat and dark chocolate. When paired with American St. Louis Style Ribs, the smoky sweet sauce will highlight the delicate notes in the whisky.
