LAMY, world famous for its range of stylish pens, will celebrate four decades of success with a "40th
anniversary of LAMY Design" exhibition from 17 April to 1 May. The exhibition, which will take place at
LOG-ON Festival Walk, will showcase many classic LAMY pen designs. Mr. Eric Daniel, International
Sales Director of LAMY will be in Hong Kong for the exhibition launch.
As the first stop on the "40th anniversary of LAMY Design" world tour, Hong Kong will experience the
launch of the "NOTO" pen series designed by Naoto Fukasawa, Japan's famous industrial designer who
established Naoto Fukasawa Design in 2003. His works include MUJI's classic CD player (which is now
part of MoMA's permanent collection in New York), the mobile phones "Infobar" and "neon" and the ±0
brand of household electrical appliances. More recently, he has collaborated with companies such as
B&B Italia, Driade, Magis, Artemide, Danese and Boffi to great public and industry acclaim. He has won
more than 50 significant awards, including the American IDEA Gold Award, the German if Gold Award,
the British D&AD Gold Award, the Mainichi Design Award and the 5th Oribe Award.
While looking to the future, the exhibition will also showcase LAMY's past, including many of the historic
pens designed by LAMY over the past 40 years – such as previous versions of the popular SAFARI pen
series.
In a lucky draw, customers can win one of 50 limited edition sets of 4 NOTO pens, including an exclusive black version featuring Naoto Fukasawa's signature and a note personally signed by Dr. Lamy!
Customers who purchase products at city'super or LOG-ON worth $500 or more between 15 and 27 April will be able to redeem a free LAMY pen at LOG-ON Festival Walk on a first-come, first-served basis (100 pens will be available each day, while stocks last).
