GSM is a common term used in Australia for a red wine with a blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvèdre grapes. Grenache contributes fruitiness; Shiraz contributes full-bodied, fleshy flavours of black fruits and pepper and Mourvèdre contributes elegance, structure and acidity to the blend.
