The Wine and Steak Pairing You Must Try

Red wine and steak are an all-time perfect match. Blanc D’Aquitaine is a French beef cattle breed, processed with the “hibernation” meat treatment method to refine its coarse texture and tenderise muscle fibres. Château Kirwan 1999 is its perfect companion. It features complex notes of ripe fruits and leather, and is smooth and rich in the mouth with soft, velvety tannins. This match elevates the steak’s flavourful, aromatic characteristics and doesn’t overshadow the wine.

Château Dauzac originates from the 19th century in the Margaux region of France. The vinification process of its famous Château Dauzac 1982 takes place in temperature-controlled-stainless steel tanks and is matured in oak casks for 12 months. Water of Life: Single Malt Whisky

Tasting single malt whisky has become incredibly popular; the tipple's thick body and evocative taste are fascinating. Which of the below famous single malt whiskies will you choose?

Stronachie 10-Year-Old Single Malt Whisky
Distilled at the Benrinnes distillery, it pays homage to the original Stronachie distillery. With notes of soft honey, earthy heather and a malty sweetness, it leaves a smooth taste of luscious honey and biscuits on the palate, and gives off lingering pepper and cereal aromas. Goes well with Brie and Camembert cheeses.

The Belgian Owl Single Malt Whisky
This multi-award winner (2011-2015 Liquid Gold Award and 2015 European Whisky of the Year (Single Malt), both from Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible) is from a young distillery that uses Belgian spring barley and natural water found 40 metres underground to fill their casks. It is floor-malted and no peat is used; it is then stored in bourbon casks for 36 months.
